I have Enkei Raijins 18x8.5" +45 offset in the front, 18x9.5" +45 offset in the back. 225/40/18 fronts, 255/35/18 backs Michelin Pilot Super Sports. For the most part, this is the standard sizing for a staggered setup (larger rims+tire at the back). There's insane amount of grip, and it'll clear stock suspension.

Larger diameter tires barely affects speedometer, and will not void your warranty.

Need recommendations for upgrading wheel/tire pairings for the Scion Frs

Ok 2013 Scion FRS. Been riding on the original tires (Turanza) since I bought it in Oct 2013 except for the short period of time I had snow tires on.

Its gotten to the point where even though the tread depth looks ok I have VERY little traction even on dry roads. So I want to upgrade the tires and wheels to a larger diameter after the snow tires come off.

Can I get some suggestions for good upgraded (larger) wheel/tire pairings that have worked out for you? Nice specific sizings and brands please.

Also, does going to a larger diameter tire affect the speedometer and/or void the warranty?

    Thanks much.
