    Weights of components, Reduction time!

    Complete Car
    OEM BRZ Premium 6MT, full tank of gas, as delivered from dealership= 2,750 lbs.


    Wheels/Tires

    OEM 17" wheel & tire combo= 41.4 lbs.


    OEM Lug nuts (5 pieces, or one wheel set)= 0.2 lbs.


    Brakes
    OEM front Brake pads= 1.8 lbs.


    OEM front brake dust shield and three bolts= 0.4 lbs.


    OEM front brake disc= 17.0 lbs.


    OEM front brake caliper bracket= 3.8 lbs.


    OEM Front Brake Caliper= 7.8 lbs.


    OEM Rear brake caliper= 2.8 lbs.


    OEM rear brake caliper bracket= 3.0 lbs.


    OEM Rear brake disc= 13.2 lbs.


    OEM rear brake pads= 0.8 lbs.

    You aware of anyone who makes a 2 piece rotor for this car?

    Interesting and useful, but deeply creepy. I feel like Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) after he witnessed his own father's autopsy.

    BTW, the rims are 22lbs apiece. Toyota is very proud of how lightweight they are compared to wheels on their other vehicles.
