i honestly think they just toned down the exhaust and put a bigger muffler on or cat just to deaden noise, as they dont want to give away the full exhaust note before the TAS release!

This shows a good duration of the FT86 racing.

I think i hear the FT86 exhaust note at 6:13-6:14. It's a noise that sounds very much unlike the rest of the cars. By the sounds of it, I don't hear any turbo. So that just could be the sound we were looking for!
