    Pictures of the FR-S & FT-86 de-camouflaged & looking like production models

I have no idea how the FR-S, FT-86 & BRZ production models will end up looking like but it's safe to say what we see in the pictures below look really production-model-like.

    What do you think???

I wonder if Scion will have the same aero package? Cause we can clearly tell the car below has Toyota badges.

Looks pretty damn close to me. And I must say, not too bad. The rear end with a trunk spoiler would look better to me. I hate the wing.

It really does, my speculation seems to be going in the right direction so far.

A trunk spoiler would be nice, maybe not as functional but will give the car a much more cleaner look overall.

Who know's maybe we will have quite a few spoiler options.

They are trying to make this car handle as good as possible. I'm 100% sure that spoiler is 100% functional. There should be an option that you can get a wingless trunk. Personally I think it looks more aggressive with the spoiler.

OK, at what speed does a spoiler like that actually make any down force? At 200HP, can you even get to those speeds where it matters? Just saying.

yeah I heard spoilers like those are only used for very high speeds, some to a point where it wouldn't make a difference at all on streets, only tracks. But then again, some people just like it for its looks. Honestly, I don't like high spoilers, but for this and the integra I'll make an exception, they just go together really well.

have you guys ever thought that the spoiler in the first picture was there more for the idea of completing the "Subaru STi look" rather than for performance although it might help with performance, i doubt anything major

Well, the STI hits speeds that it would actually matter so I don't think it is just for looks on the STI or EVO X for that matter. If the car can go faster than 150MPH then it may help and both those cars do get tracked or raced so it probably matters. But FR-S with 200hp I doubt can get much over 120MPH?? Just a guess.

OK, I believe you. I keep forgetting the car is light. I just figured it would be governed was what I was implying. A tune will fix that. I think the much heavier Genesis 2.0t can hit 140 MPH.

Its a shame the Genesis is so heavy other wise it would of turned out to be an even better car..!
