JGTC FT-86 rendering

i was on google looking for cool FR-S pictures and i came across this really cool rendering of a JGTC FT-86. If you are familiar with the JGTC cars, you will notice how realistic this rendering looks.

I wonder if the FT-86 will ever be considered for the JGTC racing series.

I think the possibility of a FR-S JGTC race car is very likely. If they can have the Impreza WRX in the series, i don't see why an FR-S can't.

We will have to wait sometime for this to be reality, a ton of time, money and development goes into these cars.

Agreed the car will be able to join lots of different race brackets. Le mans gt2, drift, rally, drag etc....so jgtc could be a reality.

Drifting is the mot obvious one since the AE86 was the drifters vehicle of choice back in the days.
Eventually we should see the FR-S/FT-86 in the D1GP & Formula D, and maybe DMCC (Canada). D1GP & Formula D usually has the sickest/newest cars.

If the FT-86 FR-S engine and chassis prove to be race worthy I'm sure we will see this car in all sorts of classes and races. From drifting to endurance.

As important as the engine and chassis may be, I bet race teams will be buying the FR-S blind. Being the first to come out with a FR-S race car will do a lot for the race team and companies involved.

I'm surprised Toyota still has kept this car under wraps but then agian it does seem to be that this car will make or break toyota for good!
