It may well destroy the good balance of the car... course, there are other things you can do to restore that balance.

I'm more interested in what people will be doing with the stock motor... anyone can slap a bigger badder motor in and have a fast car.. but not something I am going to do.

Well seeing how these guys are dropping in at least $10k for the swap and parts, I bet they have the coin to build up the rest just seeing who they are. If it's a drift car building up the rest of the car to match it's power might not all be needed, maybe for road course.

I know modifying the stock FA20 is exciting but having someone throw the legendary 2JZ Supra motor in is going to be very interesting to see. It's the race to the fastest FR-S. It's likely going to be for drag or drift so the balance isn't as crucial.

Yeah, figure a trans and rear diff also. This is ridiculous. Just go buy a supra.

With enough coin almost anything is possible. I'm enjoying seeing all these swaps. Let someone else do the R&D and reap the rewards in a year or so with an abundance of choices. I'm just curious of the realistic HP numbers that can be had in the stock NA motor say fully built?
