Toyota FT-86 Revealed in Leaked Brochure

Dying to know what the production Toyota FT-86 will look like? Here's the closest look yet.

These scanned images are from a Modellista brochure; Modellista being an in-house tuning arm of Toyota. That said, it's not the production version that will debut at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show, but a modified version of the car, sporting an aero kit and several other accessories.

Please tell me we are not getting the hideous chrome side molding!!! Over all I like it. A deck lid lip will really help aggressiveness also.

I really dislike that chrome side molding, it just looks like they randomly placed it in that spot.

This brochure was scanned from a tuning company's brochure so maybe it's something they include with a kit or sell by it's self.

    Agree!

Deck lid lip would look good for sure.
But what do you think about the spoiler below with the aero kit above?

i really do dig the leaked on, but i think if they had the tail lights revised like the camo'd on and with the spoiler it actually does make the car a tad more complete/

In all honesty, with what I thought at first then expected, if this is what the true production model looks like, I must say Toyota has done a job well done. Not everything I expected but hey since it's apparently the the "start" of a new series and line of sport cars I must say It really looks good. The interior looks pretty well designed I just hope there's a touch screen. But I hope they just come through with the price they promised and the performance they assured us it will come with.

The big wing does not bother me, I have an Evo X currently. It just seem really big for a small car but I am reserving judgement for an "in person" look. I still think a nice deck lip would be more classy and subtle and sleek. The big wing is yelling "look at me" too hard.

I don't like the spoiler at all. I've never driven in a car with one, but I have to think that it's bad for visibility, and pointless on a car that wouldn't be travelling fast enough to use it, because the FR-S is all about handling not top speed.

And I wouldn't count on a touch screen. One of the FR-S' design priorities was to be affordable, so standard equipment is going to be bare bones. Maybe it will come optional, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I have driven cars with spoilers and its really not that much of an issue, you have your side mirrors too. The spoiler were looking at in this thread doesn't seem to be an issue since its so high, almost looks as if it clears the rear windsheild.
