There might not be much new about Toyota‘s FT-86 II Concept, but with the hype continuing to build around the production model it’s worth another look. After first debuting at the Geneva Auto Show back in March, it has received a new paint job and (we spied) some Brembo brakes!

The car is starting to look more and more like a production model. However I still heavily prefer the Scion version over the Toyota version. The Toyota version looks like its trying to be a luxury car while the Scion version is all sports car.

Im glad you said it first FT-guy, thats pretty much what I was thinking when I watched the vid. If they dont drastically "square" off the Scion version then Im going with it next year. Good post.

actually i think the Toyota version is more of a tuner car than a luxury car, it looks too "ricey" to be even close to a luxury car.

The FR-S has more sleek, cleaner lines that would appear to have a little luxury in it.
