Unintended acceleration mostly driver error

After all the negative exposure Toyota got from the whole unintended acceleration problem. It's nice to finally have some actual facts come to the surface. The DOT analyzed the "black box" from cars that were involved in accidents caused by unintended acceleration. Out of all the cases only 1 car recorded the brakes being applied when the accident happened. What this means is everyone else was basically either stepping on the gas thinking it was the brake or they didn't do anything at all to stop the car. Unfortunately the damage has already been done and Toyota's name has been tarnished. Here's the link to the full article.

That's a real eye opener. I have to admit I jumped on the "blame Toyota" bandwagon when this problem was first reported. This definitely helps me regain my faith in Toyota.

never pointed the finger at toyota. driven more than enough toyota's to know theyre very well made. i knew there had to be another reason for the problem.
