Toyota GT86 Convertible Teased Ahead of Geneva Motor Show Debut

Forget the successor to the Ferrari Enzo… Toyota is looking to steal the show in Geneva next month with the debut of a Convertible version of the 2013 AutoGuide.com Car of the Year.

OK, technically it’s the GT86, not the Scion FR-S, but if they’re not exactly the same car, they are in spirit.

Confirming on-again, off-again rumors that a drop-top version of the GT86 is in the works, a concept version of the GT86, called the FT-86 Open Concept, will debut in the Swiss city. And while it’s not confirmed for production, Toyota has said it, “previews a possible future development of the award-winning GT86 sports coupe.”
