    Problems with my Integra

Hey wassup, as the titles claims, I'm having a unusual problem with my 2001 integra, mainly the sensor. Every morning, mainly cold morning, I turn my car on and leave it on for about a minute. After I put the car in reverse, put the E brake down all the way, but the signal for the E brake it still on. Now I thought at first it was only a one time problem but it's been happening since early 2011, remember cold mornings, so I haven't had this problem much. But since Winter is coming along, I'm a little worried. Anyone have any ideas of what might be wrong? Is this problem that serious? I want to ask a mechanic, but I'm afraid he's just going to tell me things that aren't messed up in the first place. I do have one mechanic I can trust but before I take this problem to him, I need some feedback. Thanks in advance
P.S. Yes I'm new to problems with cars and new to the tuner game.

Cool cool, thxs. Only thing is, won't the engine think the E Brake is up since the sensor is on? I mean just a thought

One thing for sure it won't cause any problems with the car functioning how it should be. The E-Brake light is just a reminder that your E-Brake is in use so you don't end up driving with it mistakenly.

Your ebrake cable might be in need of changing, maybe that is whats causing the problem??

may just be an ebrake sensor.. other wise as long was your ebrake is actually dissenaged it should be fine.

If you take your center console off around the ebrake area you will see a spring activated sensor. WD40 it. Its just gunky. You don't need a new sensor. Its just sticking.

Check your brake fluid level. On many different model of cars that is the indicator for low brake fluid.
