What info have you read that I've missed? Last I've heard the power is getting bumped down to 160hp, that's less than a damn civic lol.

As for me, I've got 17's on my civic, and this car seems to acomodate larger, so my vote is 18's. And for once I think I'd keep those factory rims, to me they look sexy

it wont get bumperd down to 160hp. thats only the rumored hp numbers for the not yet confirmed ft86 hybrid. the regular ft86 still has more juice than that. plus on my old 240sx i was able to break traction easily with under 150hp.

Ideally I'd have to go with lightweight 18x9's with 275 rubber at all four corners. Sure, lightweight wheels will change the handling and performance of the car. For any of you that have ever auto-x'ed or done any road racing, you'll know that the handling and performance will be drastically improved by reducing your rotating mass and spring weight at each suspension corner.

those replcias just dont look the same at all...., but in all honesty i think that, 19's would be the max but that. 18's would be best!

Light weight forged wheels will really make this car shine, light weight wheels make a huge improvement over heavy cast wheels, luckily forged wheels are super strong! My guess is enki RPF1's will be awesome track wheels for this car and im also guessing 18's would be the best size, as 19's may be a tad to big.

Given the size of the FR-S (I believe the FR-S concept had 20 inch wheels on it)... I believe 19's on low profile tires will be the largest you can go without sacrificing much performance.

25-35 sidewalls with 19's should look good.

Im considering the forged TSW Interlagos or ENKEI PF01 in 17" with ‘all-weather’ rubber for winter, then go all out with a high end 18" for the other 7 months

I think I am going to go with 18 inch when I get mine. Not sure on the exact style but maybe Work meisters.

I have them on my 86 and love them

LoL what does the rim diameter have to do with breaking the back wheels loose? That's more a factor of the width and compound of the tires...

19s on shitty street tires will break loose alot quicker than 17s on r-comps.

light and wide 17s is what i'd go with (atleast for a track setup, street setup will have some stretch and poke)
And the widest tire I can squeeze under there, there better be a lot of room under those fenders.

i think a 9 will fit without much work needed, a 10 will prob need some flaring,

17's track use u agree maybe 19" for street use or 18" really have to see how big the fenders are in person after some fitting and testing!

I want 18x10's for the rear, might have to do a tire stretch, roll the fenders, negative camber, and maybe even pull them. Hopefully i won't have to do all of that. At most i will want to stretch the tires, and negative camber it.

I'd like to see the largest possible rims while allowing the car to be lowered an inch or two.
Then you must LOVE what GREDDY did!
