    favorite tire brand and model

What is everyones preference for tires here? Whether it be performance summer, rain tires, snow tires, all-seasons.

For summer performance my favorite tire is the Dunlop Direzza Star Spec Z1. Very good dry performance and great wear life for a extreme performance tire that is still street legal. I find that it hooks up quickly and doesn't need to be that hot before it grips. There are other better performance tires but the Star Spec Z1s are probably the best deal/bang for the buck.

In terms of track tires my favorite is the Nitto NT01 R compound. R compound. Thick strong sidewall. Comes in many sizes. And super affordable.
Nothing to complain about as an R compound tire.

I don't really believe in all-season tires but for rain/dry performance the best tire out there in my experience is the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo. Great wet performance but is still an extreme high performance summer. Has great wear and is sold at a great price.

Since you guys already posted my favorite performance tires before I could post them, I'll move onto winter tires.

My favorites so far have to be:

    Bridgestone Blizzak's!

Pirelli Winter 210 Snowsport, these cost a pretty penny but it was worth it!

R888 is a fantastic R compound. Available in more sizes then the NT01s. Though the NT01s are slightly cheaper per tire.

It is toyo makes nothing but the best, but thats why i never buy brand new tiers, 1 you'll never get your monies worth, and street driving on half sicks are stupid.

I've tried leaving the R comps on the car while driving on the street. The extra grip over high performance summers is not noticable plus you wear off the R comps really quickly. Not logical considering how much R comps cost. Def dont be lazy and take the R comps off when you are on the street.

you like the pilot sports? they aren't exactly that grippy. probably good wear characteristics but they aren't even that cheap.

my favorite tire by far that Ive used has to be the BFGoodrich G-force TA. even in the rain it transfers 350hp to the pavement( aggressive driving) with very little loss of traction.

those look to be really good tires. braking, handling and wear life are all rated around 8-9, not bad! and the tread pattern looks aggressive too, i like that.

great combo of needed things when going for a tire.
