Time for Toyota to add a spoiler

What do you guys think, should or shouldn't Toyota add a rear lip spoiler on to the FT86?

They should add something to help with the downforce for the rear. Unless the design of the car doesn't need one, then I am fine without.

I think that anything like that should be TRD. I like it just the way it is. I prefer the sleeper look. Police around here give tickets to anything that looks good and moves. I want it to look like the ED2 with good performance figures. Though somebody did a really good chop of the ED2 with a supra spoiler in black that looked pretty hot. I still want it just the way it is. Spoilers should remain aftermarket customization or atleast options and not standard equipment.

i feel like a ricer saying this but i kinda like the look of a small arched spoiler. nothing more then a few inches high but something more then just a lip, the body looks good without a spoiler at all so if they do have one id say it should stand out a little more. but we all know there will be every style under the sun avalible for this thing if its released as it should be. i agree that the good stuff should be TRD.

Maybe a lid spoiler such as the Honda Accord has. Nothing really crazy just a nice little lip that attaches to the trunk.

spoiler has minimal effect until 140 km/hr..... and you wont be driving around 140km/hr on the streets... if you do, you should not be driving

Just another expensive upgrade on a car. Keep the cost down and keep the spoiler off.

Offer the spoiler to those that want it.

Personally I would choose not to have one as the tail end of the car has a very distinct look as is.

Rather than function following form I like form to follow function. At the speeds this car will be driven I don't see any advantage to a spoiler. Perhaps offer it as an option to those that want.
