I absolutely love the interior. The gauges are very sporty as well I love all the leather and red stitching trim, the aluminum pedals. I generally really like the dash and I am glad toyota gave us black pillars and headliners.

What ya'll think?

What do you think about the seats? The black leather/red stitching/aluminum trim is a good theme for this sports car.

I agree wholeheartedly. I really like the gauges and their layout, and the red stitching is a cool touch too. I don't have any complaints about the interior, that's for sure.

Love the interior. Wasn't expecting much at all. Red stitching is nice, but isn't that more a Honda/Acura thing? With the whole Type R, Si, and S? What ever no complaints, looks great and I'm glad they decided to give the GT a navigation system with a CD player, gotta have great music with a great car. Toyota did not disappoint

The quality of the interior definitely seems to be decent. Whether you like the design or not is subjective. But it seems to be pretty decent quality.

Personally, I don't like the red stitching, as you have to keep the red color in mind if you want to modify the inside to your liking (Adding lights, interior mods, new racing seats, etc). Everything else seems good to go...

Leather? I thought the seats were a high tech material with red stitching instead of the old cowhide. I would rather have leather as it will hold up better and adds a quality look to the car.

This is the GT-86 interior.. pretty sure it's not the Scion were getting in America, it has the 86 badge in the middle of the steering wheel while the Scion version it simply says "Scion" also the push button start gives it away the Scion doesn't have that either

The Scion interior isn't that much different. It is a basic interior. But for the price it is aimed for I have no complaints.

Hopefully they give you several different interior options. I can only speak from a Tiburon point of view, but you could get seats with or without the red stitching. I'm hoping this is the case for the car.

Inside red accents on the seats matched the stitching around the cabin. Obviously the car will be offered with a selection of different trim packages, but more information on that will come once the car hits the dealers.

Just found that on another thread right below this one. So, I guess that's one thing I can check off on my pro's and con's list.

Are you not a fan of the red stitching? I don't think they are that obtrusive since there is red stitching among the other trims in the interior.

Nope...not a fan at all. My thing with the red color is, if I want a different color for the interior (customizing the fabrics, maybe add in colored LED's), I have to base the color scheme on the red stitching. Another thing for me is that I think the red stitching makes the interior...to ...."busy". I'd rather a nice solid look, black seats with a brushed aluminium look for the interior does it for me...lol

you seriously don't think the interiors are much different? the entire center console seems different look at all the HVAC controls automatic climate,push button start aren't on the FR-S also the interior materials seem to be different as well, including the leather seats in the GT-86 picture you posted and the cloth seats in the FR-S
