    FR-S Canadian Pricing

Scion Canada isnt too bad for pricing compared to US market.

    Example:
    Canada: Scion TC $20850
    USA: Scion TC $19300

I would say the Canadian FR-S will probably be $2000 more then the US price.

The Subaru BR-Z will probably not be as lucky. Subaru prices their Canadian models a substantial questionable amount more then the US price.
Canada: 5dr WRX Hatch Base: $33395
USA: 5dr WRX Hatch Base: $25500

Subaru doesn't like Canada.. The BR-Z might be much more then the FR-S in Canada.

    Scion XB - Canada: $18270 - USA: $17030

Car companies known to treat Canadians fairly: Ford, Toyota (& Scion), Hyundai, and GM.

Looks like it may be yet another vehicle a number of Canadians come across the border to buy and drive back to Canada.

If it's going to be a $2000 difference, I don't think it's worth the time/money for Canadian to do this, unless they live right at the boarder then by all means go ahead.

i wonder if the FR-S/BRZ/FT86 will be any cheaper in B.C. over Ontario since they are much closer to the manufacturing plant in Japan.

2000 isnt to bad... i would assume, its not too big of a mark up towards a bunch of other cars, since generally they have extremly high markups ie bmw and etc as well.

Based on the Canadian contest value of $30,000 taxes and PDI included, with a peak tax of 15% reveals a base price of $24,995. Remove the duty and currency hedge difference and that shows a base price of $22,500 in the US.

Actually, the base price in Canada is $24,500 based on those figures.

24,500 i can live with that, which is no problem at all.

once i start going into high 20's it'll start to get really iffy...

I hope you are right. 22K for US and 25K for Canadian. Way better then 27K USD 30K Canadian.
