Toyota FT-86 FR-S Official Performance Specifications

SOOOOO. Here is what MAY be the official specifications of the Toyota FT-86. Now from what I have read there will be a R version of the Toyota FT-86 that will : " be lighter with Brembo brakes, rollcage, larger rear wing, no rear seats and a mechanical LSD, same power and tq.

So these specs are the test mule prototype. We have no idea how the Scion FR-S will be. Whether it will be more like the base model or the R model. We would hope for the latter.

Toyota FT-86 Performance:

200bhp @ 7500rpm
170 ft-lbs torque @ ????rpm

0-62mph in 7.0 seconds
140mph top speed???

First time im hearing of this FR-S R version.
I like that Toyota is doing all the right things with making a R (Race?) version. If they decided to tune the engine it would send them back to the drawing board and testing process to ensure a properly functioning engine and a total different warranty procedure.

0.62MPH in 7.0 Seconds seems kinda of slow but i guess that is with stock parts, once we free up the flowing of the motor making it less restrictive, it should have a fast 0-60 time and a fast 1/4 mile time as well, if the 0-60 time is around 7.0 seconds i would just assume the 1/4 mile time is about a high 14 if it will make it and a low.mid 15's pending on drive and how it was launched!

7 seconds is a bit slow. I wonder what is causing this. That might be with the traction control on or off? The car isn't all that heavy. 200hp 150lbs of torque. The DC5 has a 0-60 time of 6 seconds and it only has 140lbs of torque, 2,790 pounds, FWD.

DC5 and thats the type s with prob a better finial drive, i think the gearing is just shit in the fr-s tbh
