The seats in my 91 MR2 Turbo were the best sport seats I have ever owned. They had manual lumbar (a crank you would pump) and ADJUSTABLE side bolsters(at the hips and ribs) that had wheels on the side that you could turn to adjust how tight the bolsters were. This was awesome because you could adjust the seat to hug you like the expensive racing seats that have to be formed around the driver and everything was manual so less weight and less eletrical drag on the engine. I hate that these seats have never been seen on any other vehicles...

Sounds alot like the seats in my 84 celica. After I bought it I later learned that it was rather rare for those seats to be in anything but the supra models. Mine was just a GTS. I loved that car. I regret selling it.

I loved those seats so much, If I could get my hands on another pair, I would gladly have them re-foamed, new leather, and have them installed into my next car. No one has experienced the full potential of side bolstering until they can adjuster them to fit your legs and rib cage. Glad I'm not the only one.
