FR-S Release Series! Anyone willing to wait?

    Okay everyone,

Some of you may or may not know that once a year, Scion comes out with a unique "Release Series" (Which I'm sure you have seen on tv with the yellow tC and Zeus) Anyways. Anyone willing to wait and see what special color or Factory tuned options the 1st Release Series will have? This would also give comfort to those who aren't the early adopters for products!

What color would you like to see?

I personally want a special white or a TRD edition like they have done with the tC. Years back they did a TRD edition Release Series tC with special wheels, it was already lowered etc..pretty cool

A TRD special version would be welcomed. Sport tuned suspension, sport tuned exhaust. TRD interior package. TRD exterior package. Maybe different intake setup and exhaust for slightly more power.

Honestly whether I can get the FR-S or not, I wouldn't know about their "release series" for the FR-S, I've heard that the changes made to the Yellow tC aren't worth the 3000$ extra. Then again I do love super stock cars, I'd be willing to wait just because the special tC came out in Summer and since the FR-S is coming out in mid 2012, they'll probably sell it at the same time, so there might not be a wait. As for me, I'm probably going to wait till a few years later when the FR-S gets a seriously good looking design, like the concept.

I really think Toyota needs to mature the Scion marque and stop with the release series. I know that's the gimmick to sell to the kids, but I really think they're aiming for long term customers.

they need to create cool and well built cars unlike Buick and Gm who just rebrand Opel and Astra And Holden Cars over form Europe and make it their own... which that make horrible cars.... even by copying...

But scion needs to focus on cars instead of pushing out cool cars..

What if it had Brembo GT brakes. Recaro seats. Aluminum pedals. Weighted steel shift knob. And CF interior accents?

    hmmmmmmmmm

Well it would look good on the inside and stop like a mofo. Nothing wrong with upgrades, even if they are visual. Just not really for me. All that can be added aftermarket and probably for half the asking price at the dealer.

That is true but having OEM offered aftermarket parts can be prestigious as well.

That was Scion does have OEM offered after market parts, they'll sell you a scion hood, bigger wheels and everything else as well! and best part is scion installed it not you, so they cant blame you since modding your cars puts you out of warranty.

It would be pretty sweet if Scion offered a special super or turbocharger as a TRD package. One can dream.

Yeah, I do remember years back when they offered the Factory (I think it was only 6 psi) TRD Supercharger for the tC and xB...It probably will be an option eventually, but It will also be like 3k or more.....
