FR-S / FT-86 With Recaro Seats?

Since most Japanese production sports cars have recaro design their sport seats do you think Toyota will have recaro design there's?

I know Honda' civic, and integra line up have have their seats designed by them, also Subaru STI's line up and Mitsubishi Evolution line up as as well!

Doubt the FR-S will have Recaros wouldn't be suprised if the FT-86 had recaros though. And maybe the BRZ will have recaro designed seats.

Cost prohibitive unless this car is moving up the price chain. EVO seats are at least $1400.

if you really look at it the EVO seats just look like euro r recaro seats....

i wouldn't be surprised of the JDM version and all other version had them but i do see them as a dd on option

I would be pretty sure that we would at least get driving inspired seats. The seats from the TC are not bad. Give a little bit more support then the TC slightly higher performance material and I think that is enough for an FR-S.

it should get racing inspired seats but i agree with AE86 i could see Scion offering them as an option, as their current TC has a ton of after market options from the dealer!

The seats on the TC are actually not bad. They are pretty comfy and hold you in pretty well. So I'm pretty sure the FR-S is going to have even better seats. The FT86 may have Recaros and Brembos. How much would you bet that the FR-S will have neither?

They prob wont come as standard i can bet you that, but i understand that TC seats are comfy lol

But ! i do see them coming as an option or for during one special year, like the 350Z with brembo's the G35 with brmebo's the TL with brembos' and the gen coupe with brembo's as a package, so they'll get there eventually

If they do suprise us with Brembos and Recaros as a standard on the FR-S I think we should prepare for an FR-S invasion. These cars will sell like hotcakes.

I want to clarify a few things.

The sti Recaro pictured is not the sti recaro, those seats are about 2+ grand each you posted. The evo has very nice seats, the stock sti seats are really crappy for recaros but far better than a regular car seat.

I can tell you the CAMO picture of the car and the interior is clearly sporting a subaru STI/momo steering wheel. So think suby parts bin will be some help here, and we will likely see some recaros, but they won't be crazy looking race seats.

I don't expect actual bucket seats but I do expect something like the integra recaro seat shape and size. Higher bolsters and side support and firm padding. Even the seats on the Civic Si are pretty good.
