I like the feel of a key, and it lowers the miscellaneous electronics needed in the interior, so I'd vote key all day long.
I think it's pretty safe to say that could be a keyless option; but that it won't come standard.
What do you guys thinks?

Lol are you guys stealing threads from other forums? But to answer your question, key all the way. Keyless entry and push to start would be cool, but unnecessary and costly.
i would still much prefer to use a key, give more feel to the car as opposed to pushing a button and hoping your car starts each time! hahaha, or even if the button fails ! what then...
Here my take. I like keyless entry but prefer key and do not prefer push/start button.
As the push button goes practicality, it tough for guys to leave the fob in their pockets, so in reality you will have to take out the fob and put it somewhere -- So when you exit you need to remember to grab it when exiting. Even if you leave it your pocket, if you are like me, there are occasions you have to exit the car and leave the car running then (in some car make) the car start beeping loudly because the car is running without the fob.
But for females, it is a different story. They leave the fob in their purse, so all they have to do is press the button. When they leave the car, take their purse with then.
If they step out of the vehicle while it is running, no beeping since the purse is in the car.
I am not a fan of Chrysler. But Chrysler is one manufacture that did their fob correctly. There fob is like a key and you just plug it in and start the car. Toyota needs look at this improvement. It leads you to think the current Toyota's fob was design by a female team.
Push Start!
Push Start technology has been around for a good while now, BMW's were some of the first cars to come with them from factory and luck enough I had a chance to try it out in it's early days. I think it's time Toyota starts to integrate this technology into all it's cars.
Toyota is usually good with stuff like this so I wouldn't worry too much about it failing.
I'd rather have a key. I guess it's no surprise since my cell phone uses the standard "telephone" ring instead of a ring tone....LOL....
hahaa old skool. It's all good though. A lot of people rather have a key over push start.
some people go for it because of ease of use but I just love how it looks and it's kinda cool....push a button, car starts vroom vroom
If a car from Toyota needs something as fancy as a push start button, it's a FR-S.
I really dont like push to start system it give you a cold feel from the car. That your jsut pressing a button and the car turns on. Theirs no joy in that, Much more joy by jumping into your car and turning a key over!
they could have both? a push start and a key.
Some push to starts you need to put some sort of key into a slot before you can push to start anyways. Unless they integrate wireless keyfob sensor detectors in the car for push start. I doubt that if they wont even put a CD player in the save weight.
