    Floor mat Issues

Does anyone else have any issues with the floor mats?
My left foot created an indention right in between the clutch and the brake; this causes my foot to get stuck some times and do terrible shifts.

I don't know if maybe I got bad floor mats or maybe my foot's too heavy.
All I know is that this is definitely not safe at all.

The OEM floor mats suck. I've been waiting for WeatherTech to come out with their DigiFit mats forever..

I saw a neat bit of improvising that a guy in Australia did. He bought some super cheap black rubber floor mats and cut out a design that would protect just the heel areas of his floor mat. He them bought some 2" wide industrial Velcro and attached the loop part of the Velcro to the back of his floor mat sections and attached the Velcro strategically where he wanted the floor mat patch to be.

How big are your feet? Your feet are either really big or you are clutching in while rubbing your heel on the carpet/mat.

Well I have to use dress shoes for work every day and the heels are that really hard rubber or whatever they are.

I'm going to see if weather tech or an after market company came out with the floor mats already.

That sounds complicated, is there a link to the video or pictures on how he did it?

Go to Home Depot, buy the cheap plastic stuff without spikes you put on the carpet or bare floor for office chairs ya know, then sew em over! Stock look plus more coverage, saw it done a while back on a Benz, with the right time and effort looks good...but I'll be waiting for the weather tech mats, they are great.
