What does everyone expect the Toyota FT-86 to cost once we see it debut?
Do you think Toyota will go with one base model that has everything or do you think there will be a few different models?

Less than $18,000
$18,000 to $23,000
$23,000 to $28,000
$28,000 to $32,000
More than $32,000

I think toyota will be nice to us and offer a cheaper rwd sports car. I think the base model will be just under 22k, just in my price range!!
These cars will be hard to find, who wouldn't want one when they are that price.
After all said and done, once all the options, styling and features are included in the FT-86, I think we will see it come in at a MSRP of just under $30,000.
I'm thinking $18000 to 23000 here
Another vote for 18-23,000 price range. Toyota would be able to hit a big market and basically eliminate any close competition with correct pricing
25k dead on
You might as well buy a Mustang or 370Z if they run more than $24K IMO. The article I read said they were going to start below $20K. It is two years out though and I guess anything is possible.
Below $20,000 would be astounding, but I just don't think you can make a car these days for that price without cutting some corners. Even the Genesis coupe is $25,000 with taxes and that is a Hyundai.
evryone keeps saying we want cheap rwd car but isn't here the hyinda gensuie coupe over there looks like this car 2lT with good power out put if i was over there i would be getting one of them till this comes out.
i think it will be in the 25000base up to 35000 AUD.... so its just in my price range if i push it a little
There will most definitely be atleast two models IMO. Similar to the Celica models as noted by Ice. I wouldn't be surprised if we see an extra performance model (e.g. like the SS is to the camaro) for close to 30k.
If there is a few different model types do you guys think we will see different engines in the base and high end model or do you think it will just have better engine tuning to put out more horsepower?
Toyota needs something to justify the extra cost for the high end model and if its the same engine and still RWD, typical features can't do it alone for me.
Well that's what I'm hoping. Say they have a GTS model, it should have at least 200HP (here's hoping for 250 with a factory turbo). I'd like to see a better suspension setup (like trd or the likes), different rim choices and maybe wider tires, and other features that are only available if you splash out the cash.
What are you expecting the GTS model (going on your above assumption) priced to be at ICE|Burn? Or better yet, what would you be willing to pay?
I'm hoping $30000 to $32000 price range by going from your example
