FT-86 pricing: what would be an ideal price?

Since one of the reported reasons for the delay is to increase the price on the FT-86. I want to find out what most of you would say is an ideal price to pay for it. Also would you be willing to pay more then the previously reported 20k for a base model if Toyota were to throw in more things with the FT-86. For example height and dampening adjustable suspension instead of the reported height adjustable suspension that its supposed to come with.

if they're going to make us wait for it. might as well make it worth our while. there so many other cars there already out that can give me the same amount of fun for under 20k.

i was satisfied with the previous price of 20k. so i dont mind paying that price still. i dont want to pay anymore than though since they're making us wait for another 2 years for it.

From what they have provided for details and pictures I would be more than satisfied paying $23,000 for this car. That is a steal of a car at that pricing.

it still might be a steal for 23k but right now the market has so many nice cars that can be had for 20k and under. i'll keep my final verdict until we get firm confirmation on the final specs of the ft86 as well as all the other goodies coming with it.

I'd like to know what fun cars can be had for under 20k with 200+ hp?

I'd be willing to pay 25k if they made a turbo model pushing 220-250. Factory warranteed turbo rwd car with 6spd manual, and looks gorgeous, I'm game

With all the discussion about the car I'm really thinking that it will be roughly around 20-25k for the base model. Anything more than that and they are essentially moving out of the price range of the typical Scion customer.

Ideal price would be around 20k.... but it's going to be 23-25k and all those things such as a turbo version or a version with stiffer suspension n dampening not gonna happen it's a Scion monospec trim all around...
