FR-S Keys! Too bad no laser cut keys!

Here are the FR-S Keys, too bad they are standard Toyota keys and not the cool new laser cut keys!

Also it would be great of the key had a switch blade but they're just plain old Toyota Keys...

So true, CIVIC's of all cars have them, the cheapest car you can get from Honduh.

It can't be that expensive to produce those keys, I expected Scion to cheap out on something....but, keys? Could've done better!

A key is a key. These keys have immobilizers. Not like the laser keys actually do anything extra to prevent theft. Thieves can make laser keys as well.

With your VIN number its not impossible to get a new key for your car. Laser or not.

Why worry about a key? You have never complained about a key before, With most cars these days coming out with LAser cut kets and Keyless entry, Well in that case it was important enough for you to read thread title click and reply! haha

Why not just do away with keys and make it a push start like the IS. Even the Sienna has a push start.

Its happened. You can steal an entire car many ways. Not that I would know o.0

1. Tow Truck
2. Break in and get the car to start - you have to be quite the genius
3. Somehow get their VIN and illegally order a key with their VIN.

My neighbours Acura TSX was stolen by key. Following day. a TL, MDX, CSX, and a few RSXs were stolen.

Guy got caught. They just found the employee who ordered the keys of the stolen cars. Confronted him with scary policeman. And he coughed up who paid him to get the keys. Guy should have quit and moved to another country. idiot...
