    Scion FR-S Mileage/MPG Estimates?

What is everyones guesses on the mileage for the Scion FR-S? 30mpg combined? There have been rumors or talks that those who have gotten their hands on the Scion FR-S have been getting 35mpg range.

35mpg to me seems higher then likely will be but if its true. SWEET.

I don't know, it's still too early for me to speculate.

It's apparently 42mpg in UK, though we can't say anything till we drive.

Dam.. great MPG rating, but tbh it doesn't really concern me at this point.

Guys, don't buy a RWD sports car for MPG. Maybe this is the target though. Guys that want a somewhat preformance underwhelming RWD platform that still gets good MPG. I am sure there are young guys that are into that.

If true, that explains the quarter mile times.

I'd agree with that observation, it's more about performance with this car than MPGs.

The concentration on gas mileage would explain the investment into direct injection instead of a closed deck and prius low rolling resistance tires vs high performance tires.
