Edit 2: My Scion dealership wouldn't take a deposit from me but said i will still get the car early. also the guy i talked to said release date will be JUNE from what he heard, so first 86 should get car in early MAY

yea I hope not, honestly I think the car is gonna msrp for 22 or 23. im only gonna pay 25out the door or I wont be buying. it looks like a awesome car but toyota made it a "affordable" sports car, if it doesnt live up to that then they will have a whole lot of dissapointed customers

I'm there with you. I'm excited to be one of the first 86 also, but I'm not over-paying for it either. I don't plan on paying over $25K for it.

my friend has a 2012 brand new mustang V6 6-speed..it is a BLAST. if i can't get FR-S for as much or less than the 305 horsepower mustang i will be truly disappointed

So you guys get the cars 1 month earlier? Definitely come back on and open up a discussion thread for us. Let people ask you questions about the FR-S. It'll help those who are deciding whether they want to buy it not not have better knowledge. Hands on experience is one thing the consumers have been left out on. Looking forward to seeing the FR-S but don't like how I'll be kept outside the car and not inside.
