Subaru BRZ vs Scion FR-S -Side by Side- Comparison

They look very similar. Side mirrors on the Subaru BRZ seem to be larger then the FR-S. The headlights shapes are extremely similar, with the FR-S looking a tiny bit sharper at the end. Rear lights look practically the same. I don't now who thinks the interior is different. They are very similar.

dude you seriously need to stop naming posts Scion FR-S when clearly the picture is a Toyota GT-86 the differences may be minor but they are different exterior and interior wise such as the headlight housing and front grill on the exterior, and the entire center console in the interior is different. There are some other minor differences as well but you get my point.

Well look at that. For all those that don't like the interior of the FR-S, they can just buy the Subaru BR-Z. Unless that's the not the version sold in America.

I would love the GT-86 in the WRBthat would of been best, but thats nothing a paint job cant fix

Apart from some of the climate control dials on the center I don't see much of a difference between the Toyota 86 interior and Scion FR-S interior.

Not a huge deal to me. It doesn't make the FR-S interior inferior. I think this is actually pretty good for JDM vs USDM market differences. Usually its way worse.

also not the same seats, no carbon dash accents, no air plane style switches, steering wheel difference, and a ton of minor stuff that would make or break an interior in some case, for sales

I'm a bit confused. So the Toyota 86 will be getting blacked out headlights and HIDs where as the FR-S will be getting chrome headlights and non HIDs. I know the BRZ has black outs. I'm going to asssume the euro GT86 is going to have black outs and HIDs as well.

I'm not sure if the TOyota 86 we saw at TAS is the exact production model. Looking at driving clips of the JDM 86 it does look like chrome headlights. Same for the GT86
