    Scion FR-S Pricing Price?

Now that all the information/specifications are out. How much do you think the Scion FR-S will cost? Its going to be interesting to see how they price the car as the Subaru BRZ - Scion FR-S - Toyota 86 are so similar. Same drivetrain, engine.. They are going to share alot of the same engine mods as well so we will see lots of aftermarket parts out for this chassis. I believe people are going to start calling this car by the chassis name as it refers to all three models. Same engine. Very similar bodies. Same frame. The suspension parts should be interchangeable too. Its a matter of brand preference now. How much do you think they will cost?

I don't know about numbers but I believe the Subaru will cost more then the Toyota and the Scion will be the cheapest of the 3.

If the Scion FR-S is 25k USD or 30k CDN it will sell very well.

$25,000 USD base price is very reasonable to me. We should know quite soon. It should be on sale as soon as the snow melts.

Maybe I read wrong but it looks like the price is creeping closer to 30 than 25. Scion if you're listening please try to keep the price closer to the 25.
    Thanks

The rumors have floated around 25k-30k for USD pricing. In canada that would mean 30k-35k pricing.

According to Motor trend the base line BR-Z is going to start out at 24k and 27k for the premium package, now I don't know how realiable that is, but if that's the case then Scion will not sell this for 25k, they are suppose to be the cheapest of the 3 brands. And if they want to beat the Hyundai Genesis coupe, they need to sell it lower than their price as well. Let's just hope they come through with that. Lol but if both the 25k is true for Scion and 24k for Subaru, then Hello Subaru

$25k would be a great price on the Scion FR-S. They would sell tons of them.

makes sense.. subaru low trim (24k) could be less equipped than scions monospec trim (25k) leaving subarus premium trim(27k) with all the bells n whistles like push button start n what not

If it does come out at 25K it may attract some consumers back who left after they learnt that this car would only be 200hp.

25K is something i would pay exactly where the gen coupe start almost and also the Civic Si goes for around that as well... anything more no one will pay for that kind of a price tag.

This is very true, I hope Toyota is smart with pricing and goes about this the right way. The gen coupe isn't too far from the FR-S in pricing, so it will be difficult to work out.

As long as pricing is around $25K, i'll have no problem paying that.
