Aye, Hello there, Dan, from Central Florida. First heard about this on a website forget which, though I have been anticipating it for quite some time now. I currently own a 91 300ZX and a 96 240SX, But I've always loved the looks and overall abilities of the Supra and MR-2, though since I don't really care about drifting, I've never thought much of the old AE86, looks too plain for my taste, but it has my respect.

Looking forward to owning this car in a couple years after they work out the kinks of the first models, as I'm sure like with any car, they're going to be a couple.

    Hello All,

Matt from Toronto here. This car is now making wonder what I should do once my lease is up in March 2012. I currently have a 09 Matrix XRS and was one of the first guys in Toronto to get one! before that I had an 05 Xr and previous to that I had back to back 92 Paseo. I was thinking about getting a GS350 once the lease it up on the 09 but this has got me drolling over it.

I just don't know if I want to be the first one in like I was with the matrix. Have not been happy with the quality of this of one. Don't get me wrong the recalls don't bother me. Every company goes through them and has to deal with it. The engine and tranny are solid in this, but it is the finishing touches that have suffered. I just think a 2yr old car should not rattle and knock the way this one does.

    Hello.

I was just down at the local Toyota dealer with my daughter. She was taking delivery of the new Prius I just bought her.

The dealer was showing me pictures of the FT-86 while I was waiting.

I am now first on his list for the first red convertible that comes to town.

I was going to buy a Nissan 370 next spring, but I like the Toyota way better.

It is now just a waiting game.

    Rocky

Hi, my name is Ryan and I'm in central NC. I've had a few 84-85 Celica GTS's and a 91 MR-2 and am really hoping this car will be tossable and lightweight with great drifting potential like those cars had. I'm coming from the FJ Cruiser forum and hope I can have two Toyota's in the garage again by the end of next year!

I currently own a 00 Celica! It will probably be replaced with a FT86

Another TN guy here ... I've had a Toyota since the day I started driving 18 yrs ago and will probably always have one.

Currently I drive a slammed and supercharged 06 tC. Thinking about trading it in on an FJ or the FR-S when it comes out.

Hey folks! Much like many others in this thread, I have had the pleasure of owning a '91 Toyota MR-2 (N/A). It was actually my first car. I currently own an '08 FJ Cruiser which I love, but I miss the sporty feel and shifting through the gears. Also, as gas approaches $200/gallon, I may need something a little more economical.

Here's to hoping Scion doesn't screw the pooch with this one, because I'm really looking forward to it!
