    Arrow Confirmed FR-S Owner. :P

Decided it's time to make my first post, seeing as the FR-S production will be unveiled within a month!
I plan on purchasing the car as soon as I see one on a lot; in black. My reasons for purchasing this car
is pretty simple. I need a fuel efficient and cosmetically appealing daily driver, as my Genesis Coupe 3.8
just eats gas day in day out.

I was considering the current model Sonata 2.0T, but seeing as I love RWD cars, I decided to pass on
that. Anyways, wheels and a drop to come the first week of owning the FR-S. It just looks too pretty
in the concept pictures, I'm sure a few suspension tweaks could bring it back "up" to the concept car's
    level of sex-appeal-ness...(?!)

Anyways, threads are worthless without pictures! Here's a few shots of my Genesis.

    Thank you sir!

I can't wait to get my hands on the FR-S. I think with a few tweaks it'll
look a whole lot better than the GC... just lacks power a bit is all, but that's
what the GC is for I guess. =P

Thanks for the compliments. =P I'm probably going to keep the GC since I only have 5100 miles on it, after a year lol. If anything I'll upgrade to the 2013 model and then get the FR-S.

Here's a picture from the tri-state meet we had on 11/6. 30 Coupes showed... was a great Sunday.

So do you drive your GC in the winter? If so, how has it been in the snow? Do you run winter tires?

I'm lowered on Megan Racing Coilovers with Varrstoen 4.4.2's. =P
I never plan on tracking the car so no need to spend thousands haha.

    Wheel specs are:

    19 x 9.5 +22
    19 x 10.5 +22

    225/40/19
    245/40/19

No rubbed issues at all, only the rear fender liner was removed,
otherwise no pulling or rolling. =P She's a fun little car, and even
at that height... I can still drive it pretty much to the limit without
    issues.

    Thanks for the compliments guys!

Oh and I am on summer tires, I've driven in snow... once. Needless to
say... I will garage the car for the winter haha.

How are you liking the Megan Racing coilovers, I heard mixed reviews about their coilovers and it has been more bad reviews over good reviews.

Props for getting the right ride height and fitment without any issues, sometimes it takes a lot of work to get a stanced car like that!

Thanks! Yeah it took many hours to get the look I wanted... without rubbing. I love lowered cars but hate rubbing and the sacrifice in drivability, so this is perfect for me.

As for the Megan Racing Coilovers, at least on the Genesis Coupe platform, they are very good. I don't think I've heard one bad review on these on forums and a lot of people are running them as DD Coilovers. They are made in the same factory as BC Racing Coilovers so their quality is pretty much identical. I'm a vendor on GenCoupe.com so I've had quite a few experiences with both.

I hope to be giving FR-S owners the best prices in the near future. Which is mainly why I'll be picking up the FR-S. ^^

    welcome, sic ride dude.

I assume you'll go for the same mods and styling with the FR-S, right? Or do you have other things in mind for it?

Can't wait to see what you do to the FR-S, since you made a GenCoupe look pretty sic!
