Going from VW GTI to FR-S...maybe

Newb here, have been watching the web on the 2013 year vehicles coming out and was pretty dead set on the 2013 Genisis Coupe until I stumbled on a blog showing the Frankfurt car show and the new FR-S role out. WOW!! Now that Hyundai has "Veloster'd" the nose of the new Coupe Im thinking of the FR-S. Still waiting to see if it will come with a turbo or not. By the way "Hi all from Gawwwgia".

The FR-S seems like your best bet. Hyundai seems to be going down the drain with the new Genesis design. I say wait till the FR-S/FT-86 release date after the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show this year and wait for the reviews! THis forum is usually the first to get the info up, keep an eye on this forum

    by the way, WELCOME!

Yea honestly, Hyundai killed the Genesis. But people will get use to the new look, some will just move on. If they kept the same design idea and just beefed it up a bit with aggressive lines, maybe then we would have a wicked looking Genesis.

I got lucky with finding this forum too, now im just hooked on the FR-S without even seeing it hahah. Stick around long enough and you'll be too.

Same thing happened to me! I thought i'd go out with a BANG (thinking in 10 years i'd go electric) and get something with a 6 cylinder now, but after I saw this FT-86 concept I was VERY interested in it. My 1st car, SAAB 900S had a great 4, my Civic Si has a great 4. I have never found the need for a 6 and all I do is highway!

Sooo true. Good thing about 4 cyl's, it's cheap on gas! and those who want performance can still get that from a 4 cyl with some modification.

I really wanted a car with a V6 or inline 6 but I really can't pass up the 4 cyl boxer engine in the FR-S!
