    Whatup?

Hey, name's Braedon, and I'm a first year university student (Engineering).
I plan on getting this car when I get out. Until then, rocking a 91 'Teg.
It seems to me like this is going to be the kind of car I want, so long as the road feel is similar to my current car.

So, as long as it is under $28k (CAD) and has acceptable road feel, I shall buy one in black.

    welcome to the forum Braedon.

the FR-S price was rumored to be around $25-30K (USD) so in a few months when the FR-S unveiling happens we'll see what the official FR-S price is.

I'm also a Honda guy any pic's of your teggy?

I won't be doing anything ricey like this on the Scion.
Simple airbox intake (fear of hydrolock), full 3 inch exhaust (I can cut out the cat where I live), Koni Yellows with Skunk2 sleeves (I know they'll be out eventually), and a window tint

Hello, Braedon, welcome to the forums! I owned a 1992 Integra and sold it four years ago. It was a steady performer, but damn that thing transmitted a lot of road noise and was loud! Interesting seeing your pics....

    Thanks guys!
    Appreciate seeing fellow Integra owners
And, actually, the road noise and feel are the two biggest things I want out of the FR-S. It just seems to me that none of the newer cars give me the connection to the road that I want. They're all to muffled and cut off, because car companies try to hard to please everybody, rather than choosing a specific target market, and sticking with it, like they used to.
It seems to me that Toyota won't be compromising this car like everyone else, And that is what attracts me to it.

To sum it up, I hope for it to be an S13, made by present-day Toyota. No compromises from the feel of the 90's car.
If it doesn't deliver, I'm off to buy a new CR-Z or a used Supra

Yeah I love the sound of mine because of the short ram, but yeah been looking at other cars for replacements. Do you mean a new CR-Z, like the hybrid?

Yeah. With the money I save between the two, I could buy a high quality turbo kit. Plus it's a sports hybrid. It's originality at it's best

Wow, To be honest you are the only person I've heard that would go witha CR-Z and make it into something, but I have seen a suped up one a little while ago. Looks nice, really does. But if this car is over 25k, what they originally promised it would be under, then I'm probably going to with a Jetta or some nice sedan that gets good mileage. But I have some hope in them yet. We'll just have to wait and see

I give him props for wanting to turn a CR-Z into something. It'll take a lot of money but will be a car that turns heads, cause who will really expect a CR-Z to be a beast when we all know they're slow as ................... a turtle lol

The ingredients for a killer CR-Z is a K24 (or Acura RL 3.5 ) + BIG Turbo, and a whole lot of internal engine work.
