Hi,
I am from Montreal and I am looking to get this car as my second car for DD. I hope a price is right when it is out. My first car was Toyota Paseo, lol but when Toyota drift away from a coupe design for the last couple year, I didn't really interrest in Toyota until this platform pop-up.

I drive 2010 genesis coupe 2T right now and planning to keep it for next 5 years but will mod it up to 350whp for DD summer/track fun car.

Welcome to the forums. Yeah my family is a usual toyota driver and I hope Scion doesn't disappoint us with a car that costs more than 30k or something that is not a tuner's car. How's the hyundai, was thinking of buying one a few ago but saw the FR-S and fell in love with it.

Indeed, gencoupe is very fun car to drive and that car build for autox, not for a drag car. Until now, I don't have a single issue with my 2T/5AT. It is not a fast car around but if you drop $2000-5000 for performance mods, you will get around 250-350whp/300-340tq. Stock base dyno is around 170-185whp/190-210tq.

Gencoupes are sick! They totally changed my view on the Hyundai brand.

One day i'll like to see a Gencoupe go up against a FR-S!!

Welcome! the Hyunadi Coupe i herd is an awesome car, but in its factory form its kind of sluggish and heavy from what ive herd!

But an FR-S as a second DD car something tells me you'll fall in love with that car more!

gencoupe is me first Hyundai car and yes, I hear horor story of Hyundai in the past but like any car manufacture in some point of history can dump shitty car to consummer.

I drive my gencoupe during winter with good winter tires and proper setup but I find a little heavy for RDW 4 seasons car, so I need to find something else and keep gencoupe for summer and track car.

I like a look of FT86 concept and hope Toyota keep most design of the concept to production car and get car out, stop teasing.
