N00b

Hello Everyone, Hopping over here from My.IS where i've been a member for quite some time. I'm from the NE region of the US ( Cleveland, OH currently ) Currently drive a 5spd IS 300 with over 185k, which is why I'm interested to see what Toyota does with the FR-S. Possibly it will be my new DD and I'll either trade or keep the IS as a winter car.

Been a while I know, start of yet another semester and work has kept me busy. Literally nothing special about my IS. Stock 5spd w/LSD. Only mods are Joe Z Intake some tint and random lights/audio. I have avoided the mod bug thus far. If all goes to plan I will graduate college right around the time of the FR-S's release have it as a daily driver while I take the IS and begin to tear down the stock motor ( which is currently still purring at 187k miles plus )

I would actually do it the other way around even tho what you have planned makes sense from a warranty stand point.

FR-S - Summer fun car!

With all the rumored performance numbers for the FR-S it should be fun for a while, long enough till the warranty expires. Only then will you need to start modifying it!
