You're welcome. I read it and it opened me up to more possibilities and I know most of us here are itching to mod the FT-86 when it comes out.

If I had enough money I wouldn't even bother choosing. I'd just get a big displacement motor then twin charge it. That way I can get both the off the line power from a supercharger and top end power from the turbocharger.

From what I've seen, on big displacement motors anyways, most guys that attempt twin charging end up ditching the supercharger in the end, as it ends up being a restriction. This being on street cars, anyways, not race cars.

Great read, glad I saw it. This has me thinking about either doing a turbo or supercharger kit on the FR-S.

I might end up going for the Turbocharger, the sound coming from a turbo it's just an amazing sound to me. Especially when it start to spool up and the car launches after!!

What are some good turbo brands?

I'd Super Charge the Fr-S just for that extra quick throttle response and a much less of a delay for power as well

Greddy, Garrett, HKS.... to name a few. TRD might have a FR-S turbo upgrade and should be one of the first to develop one.

To those that say " i don't need turbo ", how can you not want a turbo after watching this video:

that is why I have a road side assistance program hahaha.... blow my turbo's, call in the tow.

I won't be worried about the FR-S reliability once I add bigger turbo's, since it's just my summer car/track warrior.
