    Pre-Production Toyota GT 86 Engine Revving (Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86) [VIDEO]

At the moment this may be the only video that lets us hear what the engine in the FR-S/GT86/86/BRZ sounds like.
With knowing what the FR-S engine specifications are, i'd say the engine sounds aggressive enough. Nothing like the Boxer engine found in Impreza WRX STI sedan's, thats for sure!

sounds nice. Should sound much nicer with an intake and an exhaust.

I guess your not liking how bulky and restrictive the intake looks, if that's the case im with you on that! But it's typical of manufactures to do that, but then again I doubt Scion/Toyota will do anything that will take away from it's power output. BUT we will know for sure once someone does a before and after dyno test with an aftermarket cold air intake or short ram intake.

A short ram or cold air intake should free up quite some space in the engine bay.

that and some horsepower, probably wont be a lot. 5-7HP is what im guessing we will get from a good cold air intake system. but at least it will help add to the whole driving experience, love the sound CAI's make.
