    Rebadging the Scion FR-S?

Am I the only one who is going to rebadge the Scion Fr-S to the Toyota FT86?

I dont really see the big fascination with re-badging cars. I can't stand seeing a g37 with a skyline emblem above the trunk lid. Atleast re-badging an fr-s to an ft-86 would be along the lines of the same car, but it still won't be rhd.

Re-badging? Nah, well at least that's not my style. When I see all those integras with the Red Honda sign it makes me think, why be a follower? Start something of your own. But then again people have their own perspective, to some re-badging is a must, just do you and if you really like it don't mind what other people have to say about it

isn't FT86 the internal chassis code? and FR-S being the concept name....chances are the car will be named something different all together. And considering Toyota doesn't sell the car in any other market (albeit Subaru will come out) at this time there isn't one. I understood when xB and xA people put Toyota badges on their cars (the Toyota bB and aA were sold in Japan for years), but I wanted to choke the shit out of people who put Toyota on their tCs

Well i would re-badge and debating to my taste.

Most people just re-badge to a diffident OEm spec, since they prefer that oem spec, and as for making your own style, I'd love to see what creative badge you might come out with!

I wish I could tell you if FT-86 is officially the chassis code but previous sources mentioned 3 brands will be launching the brand and they are as follows:

    Toyota FT-86
    Scion FR-S
    Subaru BRZ

The Subaru version was known before as the 216A/086A and Subaru officially named it the BRZ.

With the way the 3 brands have been working lately I think the names i mentioned above are official and legit.

As for markets getting them, I think it will be like this:

    Toyota FT-86 ......Japan & Australia
    Scion FR-S .......Canada, USA, Mexico
Subaru BRZ.......Europe, maybe USA and Canada

Well from what I would understand that Scion FR-S is what it is called here and the Toyota FT86 is what it is called in Japan. Just like Acura Integra badged to Honda Integra. The car is made by Toyota. It is just badged by Scion. The differences might be slight but the major difference is LHD and RHD.

You sure aren't Im already looking forward to seeing the dealers face when I tell them to rebadge it before it leaves the lot. Right now I'll just settle for the Toyota emblem over Scion's
At the end of the day it doesn't matter, so long as you love what you drive.
