I think the roads around my area would have that splitter in pieces in no time. Would look drop dead gorgeous sitting in my driveway however.

this car needs not be kitted. Perfect the way it sits.
The basic original statement is right, though. That would be a difficult body to design something nice for. All depends on what you're after. I'd leave it alone myself, maybe do some paint at most.
GOOD! One step in keeping the young dudes, who's mommy and daddy bought them this brand new sports car(FT-86), from ricing out this perfect piece of machinary.
Body kits are still possible. Different front bumpers. Rear bumpers. Sideskirts. Widebody kits. I agree a lip kit would be hard for the concept design. But like everyone states. This car really doesn't need a body kit.
it doesnt need a body kit hes right, but hey i would love having a front splitter side splitters a massive rear diffuser but hey thats how i roll..
looking forward to a future FT-86 veilside body kit.
veilside will either make it or break it, I never seen a veilside bodykit im 50/50 on.
vertex makes amazing widebody kits, hopefully they will pull through with one but with the lack of support from the tuner community with most buying vertex knock off's, vertex might not have the funds to do it.
2 inches lowered is really all it needs!
Take body kit money and buy suspension instead! Thank me later~
Lowering it comes with upgrading your suspension. If I end up getting this I'd hold off until I can find decent dampers for the car before I mess with the suspension. If you care about handling don't slam your car. Messing with the suspension geometry has negative and positive effects. I might actually get motons of ohlins and just get some custom work to make them fit.
It is lip kit friendly , what i have noticed these days is that new lips and side skirts and everything are MASSIVE and people just create them for the hell of it !
We're going to start with a lip kit first, molding right off the OE parts to make sure the fitment is perfect.
Just waiting for the car now

What are you going to look into for inspiration or design? Molding off OEM is great for fitment but what about design?
I would suggest making it to match the concept. That would be a huge seller.
Let us know what you end up doing.
We got a few design in mind, but i can't post any pix's yet.hehe. It's going to be nice and clean, but yet have a aggressive look.
We want to make the lip kit also affordable. And it's going to be available in dry carbon, wet carbon, frp. And it's all going to be 100% MADE in USA.
So no cost in over sea shipping![]()
